4.3 Development Impacts
As the proposal replaces a facility where users primarily arrive by private car, with a use where users
primarily arrive by bus, an anticipated reduction in peak hour traffic volumes is anticipated.
The following traffic generation is anticipated as part of this development:
 Up to 74 passenger vehicle movements per day (staff).
 On days where the is a changeover of camps, up to 28 bus movements per day (14 buses).
It is important to note in terms of the anticipated site generation that:
 School camps do not operate on school holidays, and operate a maximum of 40 weeks per year.
 School camps are seasonal, and it is not expected that the camp will be fully occupied with 2 camps
         per Village on all weeks.
 Whilst there are 300 beds at full capacity for all three Villages, it is likely that a proportion of camps
will have less than full capacity in the Villages.
As such, the above outlines the maximum traffic which could be generated and the ‘peak repeatable’ traffic
generation is expected to be lower.
