Engagement with social media followers was our focus on
Visit Noosa’s Instagram and Facebook platforms. We saw
growth across all major measurements despite challenges in
the final months of the financial year due to COVID-19 –
this began to improve again at the end of the year.
Tourism Australia (TA) and Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) continued to strengthen their support for us,
sharing our content with their followers. TA invited us to visit their Sydney headquarters for two days of sharing
insights and providing advice to lead our platform towards new and exciting areas. TEQ invited us to connect
with their social team to share insights about staying relevant in this ever-changing space.
