In commending Council for its preservation guidelines, we trust the implementation of such
policy considers the practicalities of a burgconing environment growing and expanding over
time and that the ratepayers’ amenity, safety, and peace of mind are not ignored.
We ask that the Council recognise the melaleucas’ incompatibility and replace the trees.
We offer to bear the costs associated with the planting of a number of alternative trees more
in keeping with the other varieties already planted in Regatta Circuit and Starboard Avenue
as replacements for melaleucas which have previously been removed.
We look forward to Noosa Council's favourable consideration of our request.
