The peak flow at this point has been reduced by 5.55m3/s.
4.2.6 10 % Ae p Re su lt s ( De v elop ed w ith blo c ka g e)
The peak water level during the above event at reporting point 1 was 106.20m AHD. The peak water
level at point 2 is 104.90m AHD. The peak water elevation at point 1 shows an increase in peak water
elevation of 0.03m. There is an increase in peak water elevation at point 2 of 0.08m.
The peak flow at flow line 10 was 30.93m3/s.
This shows a decrease in peak flow of 0.22m3/s compared to the existing case.
4.2.7 5 % Ae p R es ult s ( D ev el o pe d n o b lo ck ag e)
The peak water level during the above event at reporting point 1 was 106.30m AHD. The peak water
level at point 2 is 104.87m AHD. The peak water elevation at point 1 has shown a decrease of 0.03m.
There has also been an increase of 0.11m in peak water elevation at point 2. These results are in
comparison to the existing case.
The peak flow at flow line 10 was 35.13m3/s.
This shows a reduction in peak flow at this location of 1.92m3/s.
4.2.8 5 % Ae p R es ult s ( D ev elo pe d w ith bl oc k ag e )
The peak water level during the above event at reporting point 1 was 106.32m AHD. The peak water
level at point 2 is 105.04m AHD. The peak water elevation at point 1 has decreased by 0.01m
(compared to the developed case without blockage) due to the specified blockage. Peak water elevation
at point 2 has increased by 0.06m.
The peak flow at flow line 10 was 35.98m3/s which is 1.07m 3/s.
4.2.9 2 % Ae p R es ult s ( D ev elo pe d n o b lo ck ag e)
The peak water level during the above event at reporting point 1 was 106.44m AHD. The peak water
level at point 2 is 105.09m AHD. The peak water elevation at points 1 and 2 have shown no change
compared to the existing case.
The peak flow at flow line 10 was 41.28m3/s.
This shows a reduction in peak flow at this location of 3.93m3/s. The above results show decreases in
peak water level of 0.03m and 0.06m for points 1 and 2 respectively. This shows that the bridge is not
restricting flow in such a way as to cause a worsening.
