                      SandMap – Report of Survey for Sunshine Beach Profiles



                                         Principle and process for rounding of soundings
                                 Soundings were rounded to the nearest decimetre, rounding up when values were 0.05 or
                                 greater.

                                         Positioning of selected soundings
                                 Soundings were positioned in their true location.

                                         Digital format of final data
                                 The data was supplied as a combination of soundings and GNSS pole shots along the profile
                                 as ASCII files in MGA2020 horizontal datum and AHD height datum.

                                         The method(s) used to derive the quality of the data and ability to
                                          meet the depth tolerance as required in the standards
                                 Check lines were run over the main lines. Processed swath sounding data was statistically
                                 compared with these lines and corresponding data from crossing lines. The RMSE of the
                                 differences of corresponding data was within 0.3 m at the 95% confidence level (where: RMSE
                                 (95%) = 1.96 x RMSE (1 sigma)).
