2.          SITE AND SURROUNDS
2.1       SITE LOCATION
The site is located within the suburb of Noosaville at the southern edge of the Noosa Council local
government area.
The site is referred to as 28 Eenie Creek Road, Noosaville and forms part of the Noosa Business Centre,
comprising sub-regional shopping centre, retail showroom and commercial precinct. The Noosa Business
Centre provides the core business, community and employment node for the Noosa Shire local government
area.
Within the broader context, it is situated approximately 34.8 kilometres north of Maroochydore, 59.3
kilometres north of Caloundra and 135 kilometres north of Brisbane CBD. The site’s context, location and
road frontage Eenie Creek Road and Walter Hay Drive is illustrated in Figure 1 and Figure 2. Figure 2
illustrates the location of the ‘development area’ in the context of the broader land parcel.
