    6.3.4 State Development Assessment Provisions
As the proposed development requires referral to SARA, the State Development Assessment Provisions
(SDAP) are applicable. An assessment of the State Development Assessment Provisions (SDAP) indicates
that the development needs to be assessed against the following State Codes:

•    State Code 6: Protection of state transport networks.
An assessment of the proposed development against State Code 6 has been provided as part of the Traffic
Engineering Report included as Appendix K.
Further, section 1.3 of the State Development Assessment Provisions v2.5 states the following:
          “Referrals to entities other than the chief executive are not administered by SARA and do not require
          assessment against the SDAP.”
The State Development Assessment Provisions are not required for the referral to Energex as the advice
agency for electricity infrastructure matters.
