Staff & Hours
Factory: 7days p/wk – 3 staff 4am-12noon and 2 staff 12noon-7pm and 2 staff 7pm-3am
Café/ Retail: 7days p/wk – 2 staff 6am-2pm and 2 staff 2pm-10pm

Please note days and hours given above are not expected to be the immediate hours of
operation. Details have been provided so as to allow for the prospect of future growth in the
business and in-turn the possibility to exercise these time/ day allowances.

Total Trade Hours (Café)
7 Days/ 6am-10pm The café will prepare light meals and serve with coffee and chocolate

Caretaker’s Unit
1 staff member and potentially their partner

Office Use
No additional Staff numbers required, will be used by staff numbers given above.

Deliveries per day/week
5 deliveries per week – Large rigid van
2 deliveries per week – Semi-trailer

Vehicle used for transporting finished product from factory to stores
Medium rigid van utilized twice per week.

Chocolate Factory production operating 7 days p/wk 24 hours a day.

As per comments above Noosa Chocolate Factory are seeking an approval which allows
them to be as flexible as possible in considering staffing and manufacturing times. It is not
likely that manufacturing of chocolate will be 24 hours per day initially, however an open
approval with respect to the above stated working hours gives them complete flexibility.
