2.2 VISUAL CHARACTER OF SETTING
Project Urban visited the subject site on the 20th of October to review the visual characteristics of
the surrounding area in order to be able to evaluate the visual impact of the proposed pylon sign.
The following photographs indicate the visual character of the immediate area of the subject site.




Photo 1 – Walter Hay Drive heading North West towards Eumudi Noosa Rd Roundabout.
Noticeable vegetation to sides of road and median. Eye is drawn to red Bridgestone Building.




Photo 2 – Northern side of Walter Hay drive looking South West across pedestrian crossing to
the northern end of the subject site. View is visually dominated by colourful commercial
buildings on Northern Side of Eumundi Noosa Road.
