2017-12-12 P&E Agenda - Attachment 1 to Item 6 - Sign Proposal
Project Urban – DF14124 23 Oct 2017 3.3 PLANNING SCHEME COMPLIANCE As demonstrated by the compliance outcomes set out in the above tables, the proposed signage is considered to generally meet the intent of the Noosa Plan’s Advertising Devices Code (16 September 2013 version). Despite the inconsistencies relating to sign face area and total signage area, from a visual amenity and impact perspective, the proposed sign is not out of character for the area which is already heavily influenced by signage and commercial development; the development on this site does not appear to have excessive signage, particularly when compared to other developments in the locality; and given the scale of the development and number of tenancies, the proposed amount of signage is considered reasonable.
