RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Noosa Community Support Coordinator to the Infrastructure
& Services Committee meeting dated 1 March 2016 providing an update on the activities of
Noosa Community Support to 31 Janaury 2016.


REPORT

The purpose of this report is to advise Councillors of the Noosa Community Support (NCS)
activities for the period 1 October 2015 to 31 January 2016.

The services provided utilising HACC (Federal and State) funding are as follows:
                       domestic assistance
                       social support - individual
                       allied health care
                       personal care
                       social support – group
                       flexible respite
                       case management
                       counselling /support, information and advocacy
                       transport
                       home maintenance
                       home modifications.


The services provided utilising HAS (State) funding are as follows:
                       information and referrals regarding home safety and security
                       home maintenance
                       home modifications.
