Figure 7.10 illustrates a view towards the proposed facility from the south-west
at the Cnr of Tablelands Road and Brewers Road, approximately 1.6 km from
the proposed facility.
As illustrated in Figure 7.10, the headframe of the existing Telstra facility is
visible from this perspective, however, the existing facility is well camouflaged
due to the vegetative backdrop. Similar to the existing Telstra facility, it is not
anticipated that the proposed facility will protrude the vegetated mountains in
the background.
It is acknowledged that the upper limits of the proposed facility may be visible
from the dwelling at 71 Tablelands Road. However, the large separation
distance, coupled by the vegetative backdrop (Woondum National Park), will
greatly reduce the dominance of the proposed facility. It is considered unlikely
that the proposed facility will be discernible in the context of the wider
landscape, when viewed from this location.
