The proposed customer access for the site is to be located on Eumundi-Noosa Road which is an
arterial road under the jurisdiction of Noosa Shire Council. The road is the primary connection
through to Noosaville to the east. Eumundi-Noosa Road was observed to have the following
characteristics at the site frontage;
         Four way, two lane road;
         Median divided;
         Posted speed limit of 60km/h;
         Kerb-to-kerb width of approximately 18m;
         Footpaths provided on both sides;
 Dedicated bicycle lane on the eastern side and a bicycle awareness zone on the western
          side; and
 Kerb and channel on both sides.
The property fronts Project Avenue to the west and currently provides access to the back of
house area and staff parking. Project Avenue was observed to have the following characteristics;
         Two way, two lane road;
         Unmarked;
         No posted speed limit, assumed 50Km/h;
         Kerb-to-kerb width of approximately 12.5m; and
         Kerb and channel.
Eumundi-Noosa Road intersects with Eeenie Creek Road at a two lane, four legs roundabout
100m to the south and with Venture Drive at a two lane, four legs roundabout 100m to the north.
These roundabouts currently facilitate U-turns for vehicles approaching the site from the north
and vehicles exiting the site to south. Both roundabouts are similar in design and were observed
to have the following characteristics;
         Two lane approach and exit from Eumundi-Noosa Road;
         Median divided approach and exit;
         Two circulation lanes; and
         Centreline line markings;
2.3       ACTIVE TRANSPORT FACILITIES
A concrete footpath is provided at the site frontage of Eumundi-Noosa Road and provides
connectivity in all directions as displayed in the Pedestrian and Cycle Network Map shown in
Appendix C. On-road cyclist facilities are also available along Eumundi-Noosa Road with a
dedicated bicycle lane provided along the eastern side and a bicycle awareness zone on the
western side.
