4 NOOSA PARADE – BIKE LANES AND TRANSIT HUB
That Council note the report by the Project Design & Delivery Co-ordinator to the

works in the area of the Noosa Parade bus facility including pavement overlays, until

between Noosa drive and the entrance to the Lions Park ($300,000) improve safety
for cyclists, but continue to represent a safety risk for pedestrians;
B. Translink will be briefing Council on the future public transport requirements for
Noosa Shire and this will provide Council with a better understanding of the status of
the Noosa Parade bus facility; and
C. The SEQ Cycle Network Grant totalling $110,000 for the provision of on-road cycle
lanes on Noosa Parade will need to be expended by June 2014, otherwise it will have
to be returned.
