The balance area of the site exhibits managed grassland with low density mature trees. 2.4 Vegetation external of the site Rural residential allotments containing a mixture of pasture and corridors of regrowth rainforest and acacia open forests surround the site on all sides. Hazardous bushland is located to the northwest, south, and west of the site. Continuous fuel load pathways toward the site are fragmented by the presence of clearings, roads, and rainforest vegetation along the balance perimeters of the site.
