Lake MacDonald Drive Cooroy - WMP
Workplace Management Plan
Lake MacDonald Drive, Cooroy
▪ Provide copies of their SWMS for review and approval. A full signed copy of SWMS must be available onsite
at the works location at all times.
▪ Provide a copy of their workplace management plan for review and approval
In turn Shadforth must:
▪ Induct all subcontractors onto the project
▪ Ensure subcontractors are working under appropriate SWMS and that a signed copy of the SWMS is
available onsite. Shadforth Subcontractor Safe Work Method Statement Review Form IMS-05-49 evidences
this process. If subcontractors cannot provide SWMS and the high risk works are relevant they must read
and understand Shadforth SWMS and they must sign onto and comply with the SWMS.
▪ Ensure a review of the subcontractor’s workplace management plan has been undertaken. This is
evidenced on Shadforth Subcontractor Workplace Management Plan Review Form IMS-05-50. If
subcontractors cannot provide a WMP they must read understand and comply with Shadforth WMP.
Throughout construction Shadforth maintain a Project Subcontractor Register Form IMS-05-41 with details of
all subcontractors on the project, conduct regular inspections of subcontractor work areas as outlined in section
20 of this plan, and undertake random spot checks on Shadforth Subcontractor Spot Checklist Form IMS-05-
48 to ensure the subcontractors are following all required site procedures.
Labour Hire
Labour hire engagement is conducted in line with Shadforth Procurement Procedure IMS-02-12. Prior to any
labour hire worker commencing works on site, Shadforth Labour Hire Checklist Form IMS-05-23 must be
completed, this document outlines the capabilities and competencies the labour hire worker possesses and the
tasks they can undertake on site. This form must be completed by the Shadforth worker who decides to engage
the labour hire
Evidence of the above is kept in the site’s PCP
13. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RISK ASSESSMENT & CONTROLS
(HIRAC)
By establishing, implementing, and maintaining documented procedures, Shadforth are committed to identifying
hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control measures in the workplace. Shadforth have established a
procedure on how to:
▪ Identify hazards
▪ Assess risks
▪ Implement control measures
For products, services, and design that Shadforth can control and influence, including planned and new
developments, and new and modified activities, as well as the products or services of contractors and suppliers.
Non-conformances, hazards or risks identified that require rectification will be in line with section 20 subsection
‘Rectification Action Plan (RAP) (corrective action / preventive action) / System Improvement’ of the plan.
The above steps are then evaluated and reviewed (in line with section 20 of this plan).
To this end, Shadforth have established a Project Risk Register Form IMS-05-39. The initial project risk register
is kept in the PCP. Shadforth acknowledges that this is a live register and requires continual updating. Evidence
provided in the population of the register is drawn from:
▪ The construction pre-commencement meeting
▪ Incident & accident investigation
▪ Plant pre-starts
