Overlays
The subject site is identified as having the following overlays as outlined under
The Noosa Plan:
• Cooroibah Biodiversity Overlay – the subject site is identified within the
Riparian Buffer Area and Koala Habitat Area;
• Cooroibah Natural Hazard: Landslide & Flooding Overlay – the subject site
is identified within an area subject to minimum floor height; and
• Cooroibah Natural Hazard: Bushfire & Acid Sulfate Soils Overlay – the
subject site is identified within the high potential acid sulfate area (0-5m
AHD).
The provisions relating to these overlays are assessed in Section 7 of this report.
Figures 14 to 16 identify the location of the site in relation to the
abovementioned overlays.
