INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 13 OCTOBER 2015
Asset class risks have been identified and where confidence in the condition data is at its lowest,
the risks increase.
The data available to inform the ongoing development of the Asset Management Plans varies, and
ongoing work will be required to build a complete picture of Council’s assets. This ongoing program
of data collection will increase confidence and knowledge of Council’s asset condition and is vital
for completion of 5 and 10 year Capital Works Programs.
2. Next steps in asset management planning
The development of an over-arching asset management strategy will be necessary in order to align
with the Asset Management Policy and Noosa Council Corporate Plan. This document will be
presented to Infrastructure & Services Committee in November for approval.
More detailed Asset Management Plans will be developed following comprehensive inspections
and data collection to provide information on individual assets. Long term Total Asset Management
Plans are proposed that will further break down assets into individual elements.
3. Review of Asset Management Plans
The Asset Management Plans will be reviewed annually and presented to Council for adoption.
