Objection Submission as to Material Change of use Application MCU
21/0110. Noosa Spring Real Estate P/L

I wish to lodge a resident's objection to the proposed Change of Use
Application and the proposed Hotel and Associated Commercial
Development.

From the Application Papers It appears that the Applicant originally
had prior authorisation to construct a Hotel Development within the
current developed area but chose another commercial option.
 The Applicant now wishes to have the land use rules changed to
facilitate the Hotel and associated commercial activity in what has
since become a more developed residential area and on a site
previously excluded from development which was obviously ruled as
such for good reasons at the time.
 My objection is that the material change in use will result in an
inappropriate commercial development impacting on the quality of
residents' lifestyle who purchased in the area believing no further
development was possible.

I also have the additional concerns for consideration.

A great deal is made in the Application as to the Project having a
significant impact on Noosa's overall image, and its Tourist Industry.
With the proposed site being well away from the main tourist precinct
