The Vegetation Management (VM) Report is included in Appendix H. The report identified the following mapped
as occurring in the works impact area:
                                         i) Regulated Vegetation Management Map
                                                      • Category X area (non-remnant vegetation)
                                                      • RE 12.5.3 Eucalyptus racemosa subsp. racemosa woodland on remnant Tertiary surfaces
 Regulated Vegetation
ii) Protected plants flora survey trigger map (Appendix I)
                                                  • High risk area

                                    Field verification notes
Field verification suggests the vegetation includes high value regrowth with scattered remnant trees. Where field
verification differs from mapped vegetation, refer to section 4.2.
The ground-truthed vegetation across both parcels of Site A does not contain any mapped Essential Habitat for
any listed fauna species as shown on the Vegetation Management Supporting Map. Refer to Appendix H.
                                    Field verification notes
 Essential Habitat
The eucalypt and Melaleuca woodland should be mapped as Essential habitat for Koala and sections with
Allocasuarina/Casuarina species should be considered to be Essential habitat for Glossy Black-Cockatoo
                                    (Calyptorhynchus lathamii)
Two threatened fauna species and one threatened flora species have been recorded since 1980 within a 1km

an assessment of their likelihood of occurrence.
Site A lies within a Koala Priority Area.
Koala habitat is not mapped as occurring as shown in Appendix J.
 Koala Habitat Field verification notes
The eucalypt and Melaleuca woodland should be mapped as locally refined Koala habitat as it supports Koala
                                    habitation and dispersal.
Coastal Management The works impact area is not mapped as a Coastal Management District.
 Wetlands and
Site A does not contain mapped waterways or wetlands of ecological significance (Refer to Appendix G).
