                    Power, as an employer, to agree in writing with an employee:-
        Executive      (a) that the employee is exempt, on the grounds of the Government Act 2009
        Officer            employee’s financial hardship, from paying all or a
                           stated part of the contributions payable under section
                           220A(2) by the employee; and
                       (b) on the period, of not more than 1 year, of the exemption.

40.96   Chief       Power, as an employer, to give a copy of the agreement made Section 221(4) Local
        Executive   under subsection 220(2) to the relevant trustee.            Government Act 2009
        Officer

40.97   Chief       Power, as an employer who has received a notice from the Section 222(3) Local
        Executive   employee under subsection 222(2), to calculate the yearly Government Act 2009
        Officer     contributions payable for the employee based on the
                    employee’s salary before it was decreased.

40.98   Chief       Power, in the circumstances set out in subsection 224(1), to pay Section 224(2) Local
        Executive   interest on the amount of the contribution to the relevant fund Government Act 2009
        Officer     for the employee.

40.99   Chief       Power, as a local government (other than the Brisbane City Section 226(1) Local
        Executive   Council), to, for its councillors:-                        Government Act 2009
        Officer        (a) establish and amend a superannuation scheme; or
                       (b) take part in a superannuation scheme.
