CONCLUSION & REASONS FOR DECISION
The proposal seeks to amend the approved plans and a condition of the existing Shire Business
Centre approval to allow for an existing 82m2 tenancy within the Business and Commercial precinct
to be included within the Retail Precinct. It is intended that the tenancy be used for the purpose of
a food and drink outlet. The minor change is generally consistent with the MP2, which was in place
at the time when the application was originally approved, and the Noosa Plan 2020. It is
recommended that a condition of the approval, which regulates the use of the commercial and
business component be amended to allow for the subject tenancy to be used for a fast-food
premises. Accordingly, it is recommended that the application be approved.
