The Site is currently vacant, with a vehicle crossover to Ward Street, internal access driveway and shed. There is comprehensive grass
coverage with light-density vegetation interspersed throughout the Site. The area of interest for the Ward Street flood model extends from
the northern end of Tewantin along the Noosa River out to the mouth of the river at Noosa Heads, extending inland to the edge of the
catchment and south to the beginning of Lake Weyba. The site currently has 3 lots and 4th over tennis court at rear is proposed. The location
of the project site is detailed below in Figure 1.1, with the site layout plan and survey provided in Appendix A.

1.5 Flood Hazard Overlay
Ground levels within the site have been modified previously to construct a tennis court in the eastern portion of the site. It is proposed to
undertake earthworks to reinstate the historical ground levels within the site. The proposed earthworks area encroaches within the Flood
Hazard Overlay as defined by the Noosa Plan 2020.
