declaration to the meeting of a declarable conflict of interest in this matter:
I, Cr Stewart, inform the meeting that I have a declarable conflict of interest in this matter in relation to
the funding recommendation to YouTurn Limited. I am the Patron of the not for profit, YouTurn Limited
which works in the areas of Child Safety, Homelessness and Mental Health. Although I have a
declarable conflict of interest, I do not believe a reasonable person could have a perception of bias
because I have no decision-making role at YouTurn – the role of Patron is to promote and highlight the
valuable work they do, and I do not stand to receive a personal benefit or loss in relation to this funding.
Therefore, I will choose to remain in the meeting room. However, I will respect the decision of the
meeting on whether I can remain and participate in the decision.
Cr Wilkie assumed the Chair.

bias because I believe I do not stand to receive a personal benefit or loss in relation to this application,
particularly as there was no funding recommended. Therefore, I will choose to remain in the meeting
room. However, I will respect the decision of the meeting on whether I can remain and participate in the
