Bank Stabilisation — Weyba Creek
Council is hosting a Community Information Session to discuss the new Weyba Creek
recreational/fishing platform. Resident feedback will help Council finalise the structure design before it
lodges a formal application with the State Government.
The aims of this project are to:
e provide a structure which will protect the creek bank from further erosion
e provide a location and structure for recreational activity off the creek bank
e reduce the safety risk, on public land, to people swinging from potentially fragile overhanging
trees.
