           6.0 INJURED FAUNA
If an animal is injured during clearing activities, it is to be assessed on site by the fauna spotter/catcher. If
the injury is minor and the animal can be expected to recover without assistance, it can be released into
the identified release habitat in close proximity to the clearing area. Seriously injured animals are to be
taken to a veterinarian or a registered wildlife carer as deemed appropriate by the fauna spotter/catcher.
Once the animal has recovered from injuries, it is to be returned to the relocation habitat identified as
being suitable by the fauna spotter/catcher.
