MacDonald Drive, Cooroy
Hi Jim,
As discussed earlier today no resource entitlement is required for the existing vehicle crossing within Six Mile Ck, as
the crossing is not considered to take or interfere with a state resource (watercourse).
However; if the existing crossing requires modification or a new crossing is required approvals may be required under
the Water Act 2000.
Please feel free to contact me directly on 5480 5317 if you require any further information.
Kind Regards Wade

Subject: Potential request for resource entitlement - Lake MacDonald Drive, Cooroy
Good afternoon Debbi,
Rebecca Robson from Brisbane has previously assisted me in relation to resource entitlement
request. Rebecca suggested that you may be the right person to contact regarding a matters in the
Sunshine Coast / Gympie Region.
The matter relates to land owned by CSR Building Products Limited, being described as Lot 2 on
SP 108094 and Lot 3 on SP108094. The land is subject to existing mining leases associated with
the former CSR / PGH Brickworks factory established on Lot 2 (refer to the attached Location Plan)
Groundwork Plus act on the behalf of CSR Building Products Limited to prepare a development
application for Material Change of Use - Extractive Industry over the land to utilise the material
(clay) at Lot 3 for its capacity as clean fill rather than its mineral qualities.
It has been identified that Lot 2 and 3 are separated by the Six Mile Creek (refer to the attached
Aerial Photograph and Cadastral Plan).
An existing internal road traverse the Six Mile Creek to provide access between Lot 2 and 3. It is
understood that the crossing is in the form of a constructed crossing approved and established
some time ago to facilitate the mining activities.
