2.7 Council Mapping
Applicable Council mapping is provided in the abstracts below. The subject land boundary is identified
(approximately) by way of dashed red line.

The subject land is zoned13 as Tourist Accommodation (orange shading) with areas in the northwest
and west as Environmental Management and Conservation (green shading) (refer Extract F).




   Extract F. Council Land Use - Zone Mapping



The subject land and surrounds are mapped (Extract G) under the Biodiversity, Waterways and
Wetlands Overlay as:

     •    Area of Biodiversity Significance and MSES Environmental Values; and
     •    Riparian Buffer Area (which coincides with the conservation zoned mapping – refer above
          Extract F).

Under the Strategic Framework Mapping (Biodiversity and Environment Map 4), the subject land is
mapped as connecting habitat (dark green shading) (Extract H).

The subject land and surrounds are not mapped as koala priority area but mapped as Core Koala
Habitat Area (reflecting the State koala mapping discussed above) – refer Extract I.
