2.8 Potentially Occurring Threatened Species
The State Wildnet database 14 identifies known records for threatened (i.e. listed under the regulations
of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and/or Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act
1999).
There are (within 5km) reportedly 17 records for flora and 11 records 15 for fauna. Refer Table 1 (flora)
and Table 2 (fauna) with explanatory notes provided below the table. Only two threatened flora
species (i.e. Macarthuria complanata and Blandfordia grandiflora 16) and seven threatened fauna have
records within 1km of the subject land.
State Wildnet Database is provided in ATTACHMENT B and the Commonwealth Report in
ATTACHMENT A.
The majority of these species would either be restricted to habitats that do not occur within or
adjacent to the subject land. Likelihood of occurrence is discussed further in this report.
14 DSITIA (2022) Wildlife Online Extract for Co-ordinates (-27.4028; 153.0830). Accessed February 2022.
