4.0 Conclusion
The retrospective development has involved removal of a degraded environment. The works
have been designed and instored to be sympathetic with both the built and natural
environmental values of the area. Impacts to the aquatic environment were mainly mitigated by
constructing and completing the works in the dry season with the subsequent wet season
proving its structural worth. On going restorations to the vegetation community will be required
to offset any habitat loss and connectivity values.
