Rfi - Attachment B - Traffic Report
7 Active Transport 7.1 Public Transport Access to public transport from the site is considered adequate, due to the presence of a bus stop on Eumundi Noosa Road approximately 50m north of the site, and its connectivity to Tewantin. 7.2 Pedestrians 7.2.1 Proposed Pedestrian Access Pedestrian access to the site is considered suitable with a pedestrian access point available along the south western site frontage. Additionally, due to the nature of the development, vehicular movements are expected to be low volume and low speed. As such, shared use of the vehicle access and circulation aisle for pedestrian movements is considered to be appropriate and acceptable. 7.2.2 Pedestrian Crossing The proposed access provides an increased separation between the existing pedestrian crossing. Therefore, safety and sight distances have improved and considered to be a better outcome. 7.3 Cyclist Requirements There no planning scheme requirements for cyclist and end of trip facilities for this development.
