REPORT
Noosa Shire Council is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and renewal of the sealed
road network. Roads nominated for resealing and rehabilitation are chosen based on
condition rating data in order to complete or prolong the working life of the asset.
Every road resurfacing project is carried out with the objective of minimising the impact on
residents and road users. Attachment 1 is a detailed list of the roads that have been identified
for resurfacing from 2022 to 2025. It should be noted that the list of projects is subject to
change based on a variety of circumstances, including, but not limited to, Council's capital
works program, cost of ‘rise & fall’ of bitumen, accelerated degradation, and environmental
influences.
