The tender evaluation panel assessed tenders and considered the submission by Carfax
Commercial Constructions Pty Ltd the most advantageous based on their tender
demonstrating the following:

•      A high level of previous experience, capability, and resourcing to carry out the design
       and construction.
•      Provided a detailed design and construction methodology and programme which aligns
       to the contract specifications.
•      Experience in constructing projects in live working environments
•      Certified Environmental Management system (ISO 14001:2015).
•      Certified Quality Management system (ISO 9001:2015).
•      Certified Workplace Health and Safety system (ISO 45001:2018).
•      Scored highest for both price criteria and combined price and non-price criteria.

evaluation.

4.     Access during construction
The project will cause some disruption to traffic and pedestrians in the project vicinity,
however this will be managed through appropriate traffic and pedestrian management plans
and procedures. Access to the Digital Hub will not be impacted.

5.     Program
Contractor Carfax Commercial Constructions Pty Ltd proposed contract indicates the design
development will be completed within 8 weeks of award and construction completed in late
December 2022 into early 2023.

Previous Council Consideration
Nil.

Finance
The current allocated budget for the Design and Construct of Peregian Beach Digital Hub
Building Expansion project is sufficient to cater for the tender award. The below table provides
a high-level breakdown of the project costs including the tendered contract price.
