4.1 State Planning Policy
33. The State Planning Policy is identified as being reflected in the Planning Scheme, which commenced in
2020 after the July 2017 version of the SPP took effect. As such, the State Planning Policy is not directly
applicable to the development of the site.
4.2 State Interests (State Assessment Referral Agency)
34. The only DA Mapping trigger relevant to the site is Water Resources - Water resource planning area
boundaries. A review of the State Assessment Referral Agency’s (SARA) DA mapping and Schedule 10 of
the Planning Regulation 2017 confirms that the application will not require referral to SARA for this, or
any other relevant State matters.
