1.        THE SITE AND SURROUNDS
1.1.      SITE LOCATION
The site of the development application is 6 Heron Street, Peregian Beach and is formally described as Lot
69 on P9313. The location of the site and its frontage to Heron Street and Kingfisher Drive is shown in
Figure 1.

1.2.      SITE CHARACTERISTICS
The site over which this application is made comprises of a single land parcel, with a total area of 271m2.
The site is regular in shape with a frontage to both Heron Street (approximately 32 metres) and Kingfisher
Drive (approximately 12 metres) The site contains a vacant convenience store in the Peregian Shopping
Centre and shares car parking and landscaping with the existing centre. The existing store will be removed
as a part of the development of the site.
