REPORT
Request Details
Council has received a request from Noosa Waterfront Restaurant to approve a series of event
permits for the restaurant to hold functions on public parkland adjacent to the restaurant.
The request (included as Attachment 1) indicates the current restaurant lessee mistakenly
believed it had the right to use the public park area due to a condition in its Liquor Licence. The
licence issued by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (included as Attachment 2) states
the address and real property description of the premises and further describes the licenced area
as follows:
Licensed Area Description: Restaurant including kitchen situated at 142 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville including
an adjoining defined outdoor terrace dining area having overall measurements of
16 metres x 6.3 metres.
