6. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
The development of the Noosa Council Community Health and Wellbeing Plan will be progressed
through a Community Health and Wellbeing Reference Group. The purpose of the Reference Group
will be to assist the Director of Community Services to:
e Shape the format and content of the Plan
e Advocate for availability of the necessary resources
e Provide a leadership role for the development and prioritisation of the Plan’s objectives and
outcomes
e Provide the support mechanism around the Plan
e Monitor the scope of the Plan
e Provide input into specific community health and wellbeing issues
The recommended membership of the Reference Group is as follows:
Councilor Representative TBD (Chair)
State Government
e Public Health Unit TBC
e Youth and Family Affairs TBC
e Dept. Education TBC
Community Representatives
e University Representative TBC
e Mental Health Representative TBC
e Primary Health Network Representative TBC
e Community Reps. (restaurants of chambers of council reps.) TBC

e Director Community Services
e Manager Waste & Environmental Health
e Coordinator Environmental Health
