application on the basis that the permaculture
and golf course does not alienate it from future
agriculture use.
The proposal is returning approximately half of
the golf course to agricultural production. In
effect this is increasing agriculture productivity
of land which has not been contributing to
agricultural production as a golf course.
While the accommodation component is
located within the ALCA, this does not mean
this area is of diminished agriculture use. As
discussed throughout this report, permaculture
incorporates living with food production and
therefore food production will be in the curtilage
of the buildings. In addition, the farm stay
welcomes farm activity around buildings. Noting
that permaculture is a type of intensive farming
that integrates with farming activities without
the need of harmful products that damage the
environment.
Furthermore, the cabins are proposed above
ground constructed on posts and if required,
able to be removed and relocated in the future.
This is an integrated agribusiness where the
accommodation is part thereof.
In reality the proposal will improve the sites
