This is the first Annual Report where we will
report to our community on our progress towards
achieving outcomes in each of these five themes.
By any measure, our Council had a great year.

You will see set out in this report a list of
achievements for 2016/17 under each theme. We
are proud of our achievements to date.

However, we also recognise that we cannot
rest on our laurels. Our community expects
great things from its Council and rightly so. Our
community doesn’t want just a good Council, it
wants a Council that it can be proud of.
