That Council note the report by the Disaster Management & Special Projects Officer to the
Services & Organisation Committee Meeting dated 10 October 2017 and:
A.   Repeal the Noosa Local Disaster Management Plan 2016/2017;
B.   Adopt the Noosa Local Disaster Management Plan 2018 as provided at Attachment 1 to
     the report for the period 20 October 2017 to 31 December 2018;
C.   Devolve responsibility for updating and approving the operational appendices of the Local
     Disaster Management Plan 2018 to the Noosa Local Disaster Management Group; and
D.   Adopt the list of members and advisors for the Noosa Local Disaster Management Group
     as provided at Attachment 2 to the report.

Not applicable.

Risks & Opportunities
A review of the Noosa Recovery Subplan was identified in the annual LDMP review undertaken
in the third quarter of 2017 which set a target date of June 2018 for the completion of the review.

Regular reviews of the LDMP and its subplans help ensure effective disaster management and
compliance with legislative requirements.
