2c.     A cross section of the driveway/pedestrian path that includes any necessary
        measure to provide a safe pedestrian environment


RESPONSE 2c
The driveway has included a pedestrian path to safely allow access to the rear units, as
shown in Figure 2. The path will be textured with a difference pavement treatment to
provide a visual cue for drivers. Given the low traffic volumes, low speed environment and
straight alignment of the driveway, the proposed pathway is considered acceptable. It is
recommended suitable connection from the driveway to the existing footpath (as shown in
Photograph 1) on Toolar Street be provided.
