Ly PROPOSAL FOR A BOUNDARY CHANGE
THE EDV AREA
The area that is the subject of a request for a boundary change has been
referred to as the Noosa Hinterland by local residents and is identical to the area
that has been the subject of submissions to the State Government and to
Councils from 2006 onwards. Figure Three shows the area in question (yellow)
tucked in the southern end of Noosa Shire (green) and being part of the
northern most part of the Sunshine Coast area (Purple).

The area in question is 89 sq kilometres (compared to 2,290.6 sq ks in the
Sunshine Coast and 872.1 sq ks in Noosa). The land mass represents 3.89% of
