BORNHORST + WARD | DOONELLA STREET UNITS
6. SUMMARY
This Engineering Report has demonstrated that the proposed development located at 30-32 Doonella Street,
Tewantin, can be developed in accordance with Engineering Best Management Practice, Noosa Shire Council
guidelines and the State Planning Policy 2016. The following points summarise the findings and
recommendations:
· It is proposed that stormwater is discharged into the existing stormwater gully pit within Doonella
Street from the south-east corner of the site.
· Internal stormwater drainage infrastructure will convey minor storm flows to the lawful point of
discharge, while Major storms will flow towards Doonella Street as overland flow as per existing
conditions.
· A below ground detention tank is proposed to mitigate the increase in peak discharge from the
proposed development.
· A Stormwater360 EnviroPod 200 (or equivalent) gross pollutant trap is proposed to treat ground
runoff.
· Six 690mm Stormwater360 PSorb (or equivalent) cartridges located within the detention tank are
proposed to ensure State water quality objectives are satisfied for stormwater discharged from the
site.
