The proposed facility is situated in a rural setting on a large rural residential allotment
(approximately 55 ha) used for agricultural purposes, namely cattle grazing. The site also
contains an existing high voltage electrical easement used by Powerlink, shown in Figure 8.1.

Figure 8.2 illustrates the undulating terrain and the presence of vegetation on the subject
property and in the surrounding area, which will make the facility less discernible when
viewed from the surrounding area.

NBN Co acknowledges that the closest dwellings located south of the proposed location at
211 Schreibers Road, Cooran may have potential views towards the facility (depending on
the orientation of the dwelling). Figure 8.3 illustrates the location of the proposed facility
from the driveway of the closest residential dwelling, located at 211 Schreibers Road.
