      4.4   Recent USM Bike event in Noosa

            Issue: Concern of USM Bike Event and management of                    DTMR   DTMR
            cyclists in urban area

            Result
               1. Discussion was held on event management and
                   suggestion from QPS was that the event needed more
                   supervision as riders came into built up areas and near
                   finish line.
               2. Some cyclists in front group were riding through red lights,
                   possible traffic control required to allow free flow of lead
                   groups
               3. Report of cyclists not stopping at pedestrian crossings.
               4. Information should be forwarded to USM for discussion
                   during event debrief from Police and DTMR.
