       2.3           Audit Team
                     The Road Safety Audit was carried out by Ben Blythe - Senior Road Safety Auditor (Matrix Traffic Consulting).

                     4 formal Commencement Meeting was not held for this audit as the requirements for the audit were adequately
                      communicated in the project brief for the audit.
       2.5            Information Sources
                      Data sources for the Road Safety Audit included:
                          * — discussions with TransLink Division staff:
                          = _ site inspection;
                          *    Queensland Department of Main Roads Road Planning and Design Manual (RPDM):
                          =   The Noosa Plan - Noosa Council:
                          =   The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD); and
                          = — Austroads Road Safety Audit Publication.

       2.6            Site Inspection
                     A site visit to the study area was undertaken on Friday the 7th of February 20/4 from Ipm to 2pm to gain an
                      appreciation of the existing conditions and for the purpose of identifying any deficiencies. The key safety issues to
                      arise from the site visit are detailed in Section 3.

       2.7           Audit History
                     The auditor has not been made aware of any previous audits undertaken for this project. Hence. the issues raised in
                     this audit report are based solely on the examination of the road conditions.

       2.8            Crash History
                     A review of the Queensland Road Crash Database was undertaken. This database contains information on crashes
                     within Queensland for all reported road traffic crashes 2001-2010 and serious crashes (fatal or requiring
                      hospitalisation) 201I-2012. No records for Creek Road, Swan Street or Wylah Street were found.
