Go Noosa – Christmas 2019/20 Initiatives
The following initiatives were implemented over the Queensland State School Christmas Holidays
(14 December 2019 – 27 January 2020).
     Free buses (5 TransLink services)
     064 Peregian Shuttle bus service
     065 Go Noosa Loop bus service (new)
     Noosa AFL Ground & The J Park & Ride (new)
     Noosa Junction Transit Centre Park & Ride
     Bus Queue Jump (new)
     Real time information management systems – VMS & Go Noosa App
     Traffic control
     Wayfinding
     Parking changes
     Paid parking in the Noosa Heads Lions Park.
The evaluation data was sourced by various means including:
     Traffic, cycle and pedestrian counts on identical days to the previous years;
     Bus counters over full duration
     Visual observations
     Feedback surveys
     Website statistics
     Lions Park paid parking receipts
     Qualitative assessment through consultation with Key Stakeholders on the Transport
      Steering Group
Table 1 summarises the initiatives, evaluation criteria, data returned and evaluation. For a detailed
