Any mud or sediment which is tracked onto public roads is to be immediately removed
using dry clean-up methods i.e. shovel and broom.

Replace or repair sediment or pollution control devices if they are not maintained in good

6 CONCLUSION
This Stormwater Management Plan demonstrates that under the proposed concept plan
stormwater quality and quantity treatment is achievable to the levels required by State Planning
Policy July 2017.
Detention will be provided in the form of a combined bioretention/detention basin located along
the Northern boundary of the site and a detention tank located under the main entry to the new
building. The combined bioretention/detention basin will provide stormwater treatment for the
proposed development.
The installation of detention and treatment on site will ensure that runoff conditions from the
developed site are consistent with the pre-developed scenario. Regular maintenance of the
detention and treatment systems will be undertaken to ensure that the systems are functioning as
designed and that the State Planning Policy and Noosa Council requirements are being met.
Any groundwater discharged from site will be tested and assessed for its levels of acidity and
treated as required to ensure that the pH is consistent with that of the downstream environment.
