10.1 STRENGTHENING SMALL BUSINESS CONSULTATION ON MAJOR
     COUNCIL WORKS
       Council Resolution
       Moved:           Cr Amelia Lorentson
       Seconded:        Cr Jessica Phillips
       That Council:
       A. Note that the recent Doonella Bridge upgrade highlighted an opportunity for
          Council to consult more effectively with small businesses when planning and
          delivering major works;
       B. Request that the Chief Executive Officer use the Business Roundtable to explore
          what improved consultation with small businesses should look like for major
          Council works, and how it should be delivered; and
       C. Request that the Chief Executive Officer report back to Council on the outcome of
          that engagement, including a recommended approach.

10.2   MAIN BEACH RESERVE CAR PARK – REVIEW OF MAIN BEACH DROP-
       OFF ZONE RESOLUTION

       That Council
       A. Review its July 2026 resolution regarding the operation of the Main Beach Drop-
          Off Zone during the peak Christmas and New Year period in light of the information
          contained in the Property Advisor's report to the General Committee Meeting of
          11 August 2026 relating to Lions Park overflow parking;
       B. Consult with key stakeholders including the Hastings Street Association; and
       C. Request the CEO report back to Council in the next round of meetings with
          recommendations.
