INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA                                 3 MARCH 2015


3.     Staffing

Staff training for essential CPR and First Aid qualifications was completed this quarter for the
majority of staff.

Recruiting for an extra casual café assistant will be undertaken in January, due to three café staff
members taking long service leave in the next six months and extra bookings secured on
Sundays from 2015.

4.     Systems & Processes

The NLC Coordinator is working with the Health & Safety Advisor to update the centre’s
emergency evacuation plans.

Various equipment from the Bicentennial Community Centre has been re-located to the NLC,
including Noosa Table Tennis tables and equipment in preparation for the group to begin their
regular bookings at the NLC in January 2015.

5.     Future Direction

Jump Bunch program – casual play sessions to begin in January 2015 school holidays.

Major bookings have been secured for 2015 with preparation of works for the events to begin in
January 2015. Scheduled events as follows:

 Australian Badminton Championships;
 Noosa Long Weekend Festival’s production by Opera Australia;
 Noosa Long Weekend Festival’s Noosa and Brisbane Symphony Orchestra’s anniversary
   performance; and
 Sunshine Coast Area Rollers – 6 x roller derby league events throughout 2015.
